1995. Lisa C./R  v. William R.
Mark successfully obtained a protective order on behalf of his client prohibiting his adversary and his client's wife from publicly disseminating court transcripts.

 

1997. Lammers v. Lammers
The  Appellate Division, First Department, affirmed the lower court's award of attorney fees to Mark and imposed stringent restrictions  upon Mark's client's wife's ability to file motions due to her prior litigiousness. 

 

1998. Bast v. Rossoff
Court of Appeals landmark case where Mark, on behalf of the wife, successfully argued that the Child Support Standards Act should be implemented  in shared custody cases.

 

2002, 2007. Ochs v. Ochs
In a contested custody proceeding, Mark successfully argued that the Court should prohibit the disclosure of the court appointed forensic psychologist's notes prior to the trial.  In addition, in 2007, the appellate division reduced the equitable distribution award initially directed by the lower court based upon Mark's appellate brief and oral argument.

 

2003. Best v. Best
Mark represented the father, who won sole custody of the parties' two year old daughter.  The mother then kidnappd the daughter and fled to Israel.  Mark coordinated a team of lawyers and private investigators and located the daughter hidden at a school in Israel and orchestrated the return of the daughter to the United States.  The mother ultimately served fifteen months in federal prison.   Mark was the sole attorney for the father.  The Mother was represented by twenty-two attorneys.
